Commercial Power Flushing for Office Buildings
Clean out your radiators and system to restore proper heat flow across your building
Keep your office warm and your team focused
Comfort in the office goes a long way when it comes to getting work done. When the heating is off – whether it’s a chilly meeting room or certain radiators that refuse to warm up – people notice, and it quickly becomes a distraction.
Usually, this is just down to a buildup of sludge and scale inside your pipes, restricting the flow of heat. With energy costs what they are, the last thing you want is your system working overtime to produce very little heat.
But when your heating is doing what it’s supposed to do the whole office stays comfortable. What’s more, you stop wasting money on energy you’re not really feeling the benefit of.
We provide commercial power flushing for offices across Ireland, clearing out the gunk and getting your system back on track. It’s a simple process, but you’ll notice the difference in the whole building.

Addressing a Office Buildings Specific Requirements
An office building's heating system is critical for maintaining a productive and comfortable work environment that supports the well-being and efficiency of occupants. Unlike residential settings, office buildings have distinct heating requirements that must be met consistently across diverse spaces such as open-plan offices, meeting rooms, and communal areas. The system needs to operate smoothly and efficiently to provide uniform heating throughout the building, ensuring a comfortable temperature conducive to concentration and productivity year-round. Efficient heating management also plays a significant role in controlling operational costs by minimizing energy consumption and reducing utility expenses, thereby supporting sustainable building practices. Moreover, a reliable heating system helps maintain indoor air quality and prevents issues such as cold drafts or overheating, which can affect employee comfort. Therefore, ensuring that an office building's heating system runs smoothly and efficiently is essential for fostering a positive work environment, enhancing occupant satisfaction, and supporting the overall success of businesses and organizations housed within the facility.
At TMG Plumbing, we recognise the distinct needs of an office building and offered tailored services to ensure your office stays comfortable year-round.
How does power flushing work?
In a busy office, your heating system is under constant use. Over time, sludge, dirt, and limescale build up inside radiators and pipework, making it harder for heat to move around. That’s usually why some rooms feel freezing while others are fine.
A power flush is essentially a deep clean for your pipes. It clears out all that trapped gunk so the heat can flow properly again. You’ll notice the difference immediately with more consistent temperatures across the building.
To take it a step further, a demineralising service treats the water going back into the system, removing minerals, salts, and gases that can cause future build-up, rust, and corrosion.

Our 5 Step Process
To find out more about our 5 step process to power flush and demineralise your heating system please watch the video below.
Check the Condition of Your Heating Water
A sample of the system water is taken to check for corrosion, sludge, and general build-up. Using a magnet, we can show how much magnetic debris is in the system – the same type of sludge your system pump collects over time.
Filter Out Sludge and Debris
While the heating system continues to run, water is passed through a specialist filtration unit via a bypass. This removes sludge and debris that can block pumps, valves, and pipework, helping heat move properly around the office.
Remove Minerals (Demineralisation)
We run the water through a demineralisation unit. This strips out the minerals that cause limescale buildup, leaving your system with clean, balanced water.
Refill and Protect the System
The system is topped up with VDI-compliant water, and a Heating Water Regulator (HWR) is added to help prevent future corrosion and build-up.
Final Water Check
Once we’re done, we test the water one last time. We want to be 100% sure the water is clean, balanced, and that heat is reaching every corner of your building just like it should.
Why book a power flush?
Faster, even heat
When sludge and debris build up, they act like a blockage in your pipes, making it hard for heat to circulate. A power flush clears those clogs so that warmth can actually reach every corner of the office.
Longer lasting boilers
By removing the gunk that forces your pump and boiler to work overtime, you’re helping them last years longer and significantly lowering the risk of a breakdown.
Lower energy bills
If you’ve got a clogged heating system, your boiler has to burn more energy just to get the water moving. A clean system uses a lost less fuel to keep the building at a comfortable temperature.
Minimal disruption
Our process is designed to be tidy and as quiet as possible, so your team can get on with their work while we get your heating back in shape.
